City & Guilds has acquired the Mindset Limited software business

The City and Guilds of London Institute is pleased to announce it has acquired the Mindset Limited business.

Mindset is a software company that has developed tools and services to support the delivery and administration of learning and funding for colleges, training providers and employers.

Mindset has also developed a platform with core capabilities in initial and diagnostic testing and assessment of maths, English and ICT which will further enhance City & Guilds’ Functional Skills offer in the UK.

Customers will now be able to benefit from Mindset’s innovative tools and services that will be integrated into City & Guilds’ industry-leading quality assurance and qualifications.

The Mindset business and team will be fully integrated into the City & Guilds Group.

Chris Jones, CEO City & Guilds Group, said: ‘We’re delighted to welcome Mindset into City & Guilds. 

'This acquisition will further improve our ability to link skills to employment by offering more opportunities for young people to connect what they are learning in the classroom to what happens in the workplace.’
