These qualifications recognise the rapid growth of the Social Media and Digital Marketing sectors as business tools and has been developed to support learners wishing to enter this evolving environment. The Digital Marketing diploma has been developed in partnership with Agilisys Arch allowing us to engage extensively with industry and employers. The Social Media for Business diploma has two pathways for Marketing and Technical aspects which recognise the skills and knowledge required by a learner to be effective in their chosen career. There are also awards and certificates available.

What Is Involved In Studying This Course?
Digital marketing and Social Media for Business is the use of digital media to attract and engage with current and potential customers, for example online advertising, email marketing, social media campaigning, and search engine optimisation. The rich data generated enables granular analysis of what has worked, demanding analytical and creative skills above those demanded in traditional marketing and advertising. The are clear pathways and optional groups in each qualification to support the learners journey into this sector.
What Careers Can This Lead To?
These qualifications can lead to a wealth of careers opportunities from Web developer, Social Media managers to digital marketing analysers and email marketeers.
What Is Involved With Delivering This Course?
Centres delivering these qualifications are expected to ensure there is access to Social Media either externally or via their intranet system.

Level 3

The Level 3 Diplomas assess learners to ensure they understand social media and digital marketing as a competitive business tool and how these tools and skills can be utilised proactively and constructively. The diplomas include units to cover a range of knowledge and skills to fully understand the impact and power of social media and digital marketing in this current age.
