Supporting functional skills

Our new Functional Skills Maths and English qualifications help learners of all ages and levels, develop and demonstrate the practical skills needed in real-life situations, confidently.

Princess Royal Training Awards

The Princess Royal Training Awards (PRTAs) recognise employers who have created outstanding training and skills development programmes which have resulted in exceptional commercial benefits.

Applying for a Princess Royal Training Award will provide you with the opportunity to reflect on what you have achieved through your investment in training. We provide you with one-to-one support through the application process and all applicants receive tailored written feedback on their application. Achieving this prestigious award allows you to be externally recognised for your achievements and sets you apart from your competitors.

The awards are free to enter and are open to organisations of all sizes, and from all sectors in the UK. Entrants will receive tailored support throughout the application process. Applications are open from 04 January – 31 March 2021.

T levels - Business and Administration

From September 2022, City & Guilds and ILM will offer the T Level Management and Administration technical qualification. These will only be available in England.

ILM, a City & Guilds business, specialises in developing Leadership and Management qualifications, meaning the business has the knowledge and expertise needed to develop the T Level in Business and Administration: Management and Administration.

This new TQ will offer young people a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience and important theoretical knowledge of how businesses operate, and how they can have a meaningful impact when they enter the workforce.

National Apprenticeship Week – NHS apprentice nominations

This year for National Apprenticeship Week we invited employers to nominate their apprentices to recognise their achievements. The apprentices nominated then received a digital badge to mark their achievements. We were delighted to see so many nominations from NHS Trusts.
